Lazy Sundays

Hello interweb! I finally managed to get a moment alone on mom's computer. She's been studying for something called 'midterms' for the past few weekends. I don't get the big fuss. In fact, last week, the week of the infamous 'midterms' she barely left the apartment at all. Although she was super stressed. She wouldn't play with me all all. *pouting*

Oh well. I managed to entertain myself. As noted in my last entry toilet paper rolls have become my new favoritest toy. I think I've shredded a dozen so far. Although it's getting more difficult since mom has been hiding them from me. But she always forgets at least once a day and then I strike! Mwahaha! Bits of tp everywhere! It's great fun! Those rolls barely run.

Speaking of things that run. *sastified smirk* Yesterday morning I had another Great Cockroach Chase. Man, I love those insects. They make the best scritchy sounds and run like crazy all over the place. Even after I've crushed them and bit them practically in half they still run and run and I have BEST time hunting the little suckers down. My mom even helps me if I lose one! Isn't that great?Although. Somehow I get the impression that she maybe doesn't like them as much as I do. She is always screaming "Kill it! Kill it Yuki!!" the whole time I'm having my fun. And when I try to bring one over to show her she usually leaps up on the bed and brandishes something in my direction.

Weird.

At any rate. I just love cockroaches. They make the best toys. And when they do quit running around it's ok that I've lost my toy because they turn into a yummy little snack. Mmm, protein. And my mom is always really nice to me after I eat one. She must like them too I think. All that screaming is just for show.

Since mom has been so busy the last few weekends I've been mostly sleeping. I found a bunch of pictures she took of me while I was sleeping (maybe she wasn't studying as hard as she claims?). So, without further ado, the best guy around... me!

Oh, and before you ask, all the random fluff on the bed is the stuffing that I ripped out of my toy mouse. :) That little guy never saw it coming. But it had to be done. He was getting cocky so I took him down about six fluff ounces.

*happy sigh* I love playing with my toy. I'm pretty happy now to since 'midterms' are finally over mom has been totally spoiling me all weekend. And two weeks ago she upped my food amount after reading about how 'I'm still a kitten and should eat more'. Works for me!! Life is goood. A good chase, a tasty bowl of food and a good petting session. What more could a cat ask for? ^_^
